My name is Iván Atamañuk and I've spent 18 years working on implementations and support of Payroll and Human Resources systems, with deep specialisation in Oracle PeopleSoft HCM. I've delivered end-to-end projects across multiple industries — hospitality, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, professional services — with consulting experience spanning South America, Europe, Asia and Oceania, and presence in the United States. I work as an independent consultant through my own firm, serving clients worldwide.
Every payroll implementation is unique. The combination of collective labour agreements, local regulations, existing integrations and internal processes means that copying solutions from one client to another never works. That is why I always start with a detailed analysis of your business rules, delivering robust and scalable solutions that ensure long-term stability in production.

My work covers the full lifecycle of Oracle PeopleSoft HCM projects, from initial design to long-term production support. These are the main areas I focus on:
Global Payroll & Absence Management implementation
End-to-end design and configuration: elements, formulas, accumulators, brackets, arrays, generation control and variables. Retroactivity setup, calendar groups, pay calendars, eligibility groups, sections and process lists. Experience with payroll legislation across multiple regions.
Customisation & technical development
Customisations in Application Designer, PeopleCode modifications, design and maintenance of SQRs, PS Queries and App Engines. Payroll trace log analysis, SQL-based troubleshooting on PeopleSoft core tables
Functional support & production enhancements
Resolution of functional and technical incidents across HR and Payroll modules, ticket management in ServiceNow and Azure DevOps, evolutive enhancements, mass data loads via Excel-to-CI and documentation (FDDs).
HCM integrations
Design, configuration and support of integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and PeopleSoft, third-party payroll systems, Workday PECI, time and attendance systems and ERPs (Oracle General Ledger integrations). Experience with the Fit4Cloud solution.
Technical advisory & project review
Ad-hoc advisory for companies with a PeopleSoft system in production who need a second technical opinion, FDD/GAP design review, configuration audit, or technical coaching for internal support teams.
